Karlsruhe / Aarau—Y1 Digital AG, one of the leading digital agencies in the DACH region, is opening an office in Aarau (Switzerland) with its newly founded subsidiary Y1 Switzerland. Ramon Forster will take over the position of CEO effective immediately. Born in Switzerland, he has many years of experience in company management and will play a key role in the further expansion of the Swiss business.

As CEO of Y1 Digital AG Switzerland, Ramon Forster will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy, business development and regional management of the company. He will use his expertise in the areas of product information management, e-commerce, and customer experience to establish Y1 Switzerland as the leading digital agency in the region.

Y1 Digital Switzerland will be based in Aarau and plans to gradually expand the team in the various language regions of Switzerland.

About Ramon Forster

Formerly General Manager at Picturepark Content Systems, Forster supported the company’s transition following its acquisition by Norwegian FotoWare. As CEO of Picturepark Content Systems, he previously oversaw business development, product strategy and the launch of the API-first “Picturepark Content Platform” as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM).

As an investor and jury member of the Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC), Ramon Forster has extensive knowledge in the areas of operational excellence, sales strategy and business development. This experience and his market knowledge will have a positive impact on the management of Y1 Digital Switzerland when it comes to positioning the company in Switzerland and enabling further growth.
