Successful migration to Shopify Plus: Strategic realignment of L&T

About L&T

L&T is a fashion house in a class of its own. The brand doesn’t just do fashion, they bring it to life–and has been doing so for more than 100 years. Located in the heart of Osnabrück, L&T is one of the most prestigious and best-known fashion stores in northern Germany. Their credo: customers always come first, so that every purchase becomes an experience.

GOALS & APPROACH

A strategic realignment of the online business and the need to reduce operating costs led to the decision to migrate the store to a new system. L&T’s goal was and is to reduce the complexity of the store system, optimize the conversion rate, and enable seamless, simple marketing.

In a detailed selection process, the core requirements, goals and the new strategic direction were compared with several store systems. Shopify Plus was chosen.
We developed a technical proof of concept (POC) to test how important functions such as the connection of the data hub (CRM) and the topic of customer groups, club prices and value vouchers could be implemented in Shopify. The project was successfully completed within an 8-month period.
