Your profile
Degree in computer science, software development or a comparable field – or demonstrable professional experience
Several years of experience in software development, ideally with a focus on data integration and interface development
Very good knowledge of PHP and the template framework Twig
Confident handling of REST APIs, SFTP, JSON, CSV and similar data formats and transfer protocols
Experience with data transformation and building data pipelines (fetching, transforming and sending data)
Understanding of system architecture, interface design and data modelling
Knowledge of AWS S3, CDN infrastructures and cloud environments is an advantage
Experience with ContentServ, PX Hub or comparable PIM/DAM platforms is a plus – our current focus is on ContentServ, and our platform portfolio is growing
AI-first mindset: You actively use AI tools (e.g. Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in development, documentation and debugging – for us this is not a nice-to-have, but everyday practice
Assertiveness: You state your technical assessments clearly – towards clients, in the project and internally. You can justify decisions, handle pushback and still remain committed
Very good written and spoken German and English
Your tasks
Integration & interface development: You develop and maintain interfaces between PIM systems (currently PX Hub based on ContentServ, broader in future) and connected third-party systems – from architecture and implementation through to go-live.
Data transformation: You fetch data from different sources, transform it into the required formats and ensure clean, high-performance delivery to target systems (CMS, shops, CDN and more).
PIM development: You develop features and extensions within PX Hub – in PHP and Twig. This also includes Smart Documents, templates and plugins for ContentServ.
Technical consulting & presales: You guide clients on the technical level, assess integration topics realistically and actively take part in presales conversations on integration. You are responsible for the integration budget in projects and make sure effort stays transparent and manageable.
Architecture & design: You think in systems: which data is transferred how often, how fast and in which direction? You assess requirements, find pragmatic, scalable solutions and continuously develop our integration best practices.
Collaboration: You work closely with our PIM consultants and clients – you translate business requirements into technical reality and are the bridge between business and implementation.
AI-first development: Development, debugging, documentation – you use AI tools such as Claude, Cursor or GitHub Copilot as a fixed part of your workflow. We actively develop, describe and document with AI support and expect you to support and help shape this approach.
