Junior Operations Engineer in Belgrade
This will be your job
As an Operations Engineer, you manage monitoring mechanisms and establish best practices to secure infrastructure and application services for our customers. You are at home in the digital world and feel particularly comfortable in the e-commerce industry. Your „can-do“ mentality is reflected in your daily work and nothing can get you out of your stride in a hurry.
You take over the monitoring of infrastructure, application & databases
The interpretation and evaluation of KPIs
Incident management with derivation of appropriate troubleshooting measures
You are responsible for the configuration and adjustment of alerts
You support on-boarding processes of our monitoring services for new and existing customers
You will perform on-call duties as part of our 24/7 services
What we look for
You have basic Linux knowledge and could gain first experiences in operating Linux infrastructures
You are fascinated by e-commerce & modern business solutions
You have a basic understanding of common databases (SQL, NoSQL, In-Memory), as well as an understanding of how container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) work
A keen interest and experience in the administration and configuration of cloud services (Google, Amazon) will help you successfully complete your tasks
You have a good understanding of DevOps processes, especially the planning and execution of backup processes
Ideally you have already worked with Jira, Grafana or other management & dashboarding tools
Not a requirement but nice to have – first experience:
-with operation and scaling of Linux infrastructures (installation, patching, maintenance)
-in setup and operation of container solutions (Kubernetes, ECS, Docker)
-with application of automation and scaling solutions (Ansible, Terraform)
-of the administration of databases (incl. fault clearance and performance optimization)
