Lead eCommerce Backend Engineer in Belgrade PHP / Symfony

-> You will customize and extend the basic scope of our commerce platforms (Magento/Adobe Commerce, Sylius & Shopware) on a module basis.

-> You model and implement third-party system integrations in complex commerce landscape

-> Implement API-driven headless architectures with PHP frameworks.

In details

You will be the technical leader and coach for our newly established eCommerce PHP project development team in Belgrade.

You coordinate the technical implementation of our most important commerce projects based on Magento/Adobe Commerce, Sylius or Shopware.

You ensure the optimization of our workflows and tools for project implementation and the support of our customer projects.

You provide interdisciplinary support in technical and conceptual regards, support expense estimations and clarification for technical questions of feature requests.

You ensure a smooth process during system integrations of third-party systems within a modern eCommerce front which you create (Apache NiFi).

You are responsible for handling pull requests and code quality.

You will continue to take on operational tasks during project development.

You are the person in charge for the team, assist during the onboarding process of new Team Members and support the further development.

What we look for

You gained several years of work experience as a senior developer and have a proven track record of successfully developing digital products in the eCommerce segment.

You are an expert in integrating different ERP, CRM and API driven services and composable commerce is a familiar paradigm to you.

You draw on your experience of the variety of architectural approaches and their advantages and disadvantages.

You provide interdisciplinary support in technical and conceptual regards, support expense estimations and clarification for technical questions of feature requests.

You are specialized in eCommerce and least one standard software like Shopware, Magento or Sylius.

Your expertise enables you to make recommendations and to identify the most suitable solution for us from a range of approaches.

You are fluent in written and spoken English

You are the person in charge for the team, assist during the onboarding process of new Team Members and support the further development.
